My son took his honde on a saturday to tonmax in wynberg for a gearbox, they charged us R4000 and the problem was still there. we returned the monday with the car and told max the owner the problem is the same. he said to leave the car there so they could see what was wrong another R2000 further he said gearbox linkages bearings clutch and thrust bearings were replaced he tppk my sons gearbox which was original and gave us a rusted one. the car siezed on the n1 after Maxi's, max sent Ndaba mech to come and fetch the car they drove my sons car all the way back to wynberg and this caused the engine to blow a gaskit. we phoned max and he said the car was with shane, shane said no he doesn't have it he gave us a nr of ndaba and they said it was by them. another from max was that shane towed the car. shane drove my son and I home. ndaba drove my sons car we saw them. the cars engine is and now is costing us R20 000 to re do the engine pistons, crankshaft oil switch rods bent etc and max says it was not his fault. stay away from tonmax they are skelm lying and they your car up royaly when there is nothing wrong with it. they break it, others will also say so
