On 01/02/13 I took my car a BMW 320i registration no. VWF705GP to JSN Motors for the following:
1. Check and adjust tyre pressure
2. Brakes were noisy
3. Squeeking noise from the steering when turning
4. EML warning light on
5. Car leaking oil
The Consultant (Wayne) quoted more than R17, 000.00 for repairing the car and the go ahead was given after negotiating the amount down to R16, 400.00. Around 16:30 when we phone to get the car, Wayne said they still need more time to test drive the car for about 100km to check if the warning light is coming back but otherwise the car is fixed. We requested to take the car and do the 100km ourselves and bring the car if the warning light comes back. After taking the car we notice that the brakes are still making noise, steering is still squeeking and oil is still leaking. We phoned Wayne and he said we need to bring the car again. We took the car back to JSN on 13/02/13 and they are now quoting us again for about R14, 500.00 to fix the car. We took the matter to BMW SA on 15/02/13 and todate the matter has not been resolved instead they are insisting that I must pay. The case no. BMW SA is 8000567027. Please help.
