I had a breakdown on 22 December 2012 and i was charged R5000, 00 for a call-out fee on the distance of 85 km, there was nothing repaired on my bus as it needed to be towed to the dealership workshop. i was requested to pay the inetial fee of R5000, 00 before the mechanic can be despatched, which i did as i had passengers and goods in the trailer, i decided to take my mechanic to do a road-side repair, which i did and the bus left for its destination. In Jan. 2013 i was told by the dealership that the R5000, 00 is sufficient for the cost of the call and i was total not happy about the matter and i contacted the Mercedes Support service and they promised to handle the matter. Without me launching any formal case, or contacted to verify the nature of my complain, i was told by the dealership that the Merc, benz. support service has closed the matter in their favor, and i lost my money. i requested a copy of an invoice which i refered to other mercedes dealership and everybody was shuttered to see how charges were cooked. This centre is for no help to me as a complainant and the customers of Merc. benz. Do not fool youself, your interests are not considered by this people, Watch-out!
