I purchased a Hyndai i20 from Cars@Randburg during 2012. I payed market value for the vehicle. A week or two after purchasing, i noticed that the vehicle was leaking what I thought was oil, the aircon also wasnt workig effectively (I thought it needed gassing) so I took it in to Hyundai where I was told that the car has been in an accident and it was infact the engine that was leaking. The aircon pipes were broken and the car required a lot of work. The staff at the dealership were extremely rude and I was told I recieved a discout to compensate for any faults on the vehicle. They did not care and stopped taking my calls and refused to take the vehicle back. It seems this is a common problem based on the reviews. I also tried involving the Consumer Protection Council but they wouldn't budge. Beware of all dealerships in this group, they are unethical, give poor after sales service and quite simply, rip you off.
