I am not sure who to write to about this. I am in total shock, and terribly disgusted.
Three years ago, i bought a yaris from Mccarthy Edenvale. Papers were signed and sealed. A few months later, I realised, my license plate and disc, were not the same. So, I called them, they quickly came to change the plate.
Two years later, I start receiving fines, that were not mine, under my license plate! Looking at the photos, i have never driven in those areas, and suprise, suprise, its the same colour as my car, but its not even a yaris!
I called Mccarthy, they "sorted it out apparently".
Three years later, I have 11 new fines. From a different car, with the same reg number. I called and let mccarthy know the problem, today I get told I need to go to the police station to get a affadavit. So in other words, if I get stopped by the cops now? I go to jail. And the etolls?
Is it right that Mccarthy issues two cars with the same plate? And now this becomes MY problem to sort out???
What sort of service is this?
