Honda 900F went in for for oil leak & various other small jobs. quote of 2 weeks & maximum of R8, 000 was given.
7-8 weeks later (after lots of phoning and following up) got bike back with a R10, 500 bill, which I gladly paid. On way home bike lost power and speed and had to be towed back to KCR. I was told it was the pick-ups (did not have this problem when the bike went in). Another 2 weeks and a further R1, 500 for NEW pick-ups. When I collected the bike Johnny told me that they could not find new pick-ups so they fitted second hand ones to my bike (at the price of the new ones).
On 24th Nov went to Toy Run and the same thing happened - bike lost power and kept back-firing. On 25th Nov I phoned Johnny. after THRID attempt Johnny informed me that it must be the pick-ups. More than a week later, I still do not have a bike to ride and have to rely on alternate transport from Jhb to Pretoria and back EVERY DAY - which I have repeatedly mentioned to KCR. Bike still has oil leak. I am quite prepared to have my bike repaired by another mechanic at KCR's expense as it seems clear that they have no intention of honouring their workmanship!
