General Motors South Africa
Lack of customer focus

My car's boot could not close and i took it to GM in Empangeni. Mariska Kruger, said to me they are very busy, they cant attend to my car. She said the only time that they can be able to attend to my car was after 17h00 and sadly they close at 17h00, i asked her what does she mean, she said she means that they will not attend to my car, the closest day that they can asssist me is on 6 Dec 2013. I dont know much about cars but something told me that to fix the problem might not take even an hour, as such, I would have appreciated if Mariska had asked me to wait no matter how long it would have taken me, i was preapred to wait. I left without getting help. I then drove straight to GM in Richards Bay, on arrival, i told my story, the gentleman by the name of Logan Govender, assisted me with a smile, hassle free, it took him less than 10 minutes to fix what was wrong. Thank you ever so much Logan. Mariska, I hope GM will send you for some basic customer service skills course, it may do you some good or ask Logan how its done.
