7 Nov received letter from Kelfords - informing me that my car is subject of a product recall.
Phoned them on 9 Nov confirmed that I received letter and inquired what I must do regarding it, but was informed that service department is closed. Phoned on 11 Nov and Service Assistant informed me that the product recall was NOT THAT SERIOUS and I can inspect the car myself.
Phoned 12 Nov, spoke to same Assistant, and mentioned my concerns regarding their above mentioned feedback and that the letter I received indicated that; IF high-pressure hose fitted to vehicles' steering system ruptures and leaks the car may become inoperable or create fire. He replied that I may drive my car as per usual until contacted to come for an inspection.
I was not contacted again thus I phoned on 18 Nov and mentioned the product recall again. He said my car can possibly inspected that Wednesday, and he'll phone me back shortly. I have still not received a phone call from him. I am angry and disappointed as this is my SECOND complaint about service in 11 months at Kelfords.
I would like to have my car serviced at another branch as I feel that I do not want to make use of Kelfords Somerset West anymore.
