We moved from Cape Town to JHB and used H & M removal . i was super happy with the service in Cape Town and saw all my items packed well with blankets and taken with pride and care. We unfortunately got to JHB and my items had to be moved from 1 truck to a smaller truck. We own projector screen which was in a metal casing and the staff thought it was there responsibility to open it unravel the screen and fold it back in it self and break the screen. H and M say its not there responsibility as it was not wrapped or packed my themselves, i feel the negligence is on there staff and mishandling of my goods. They also broke a vacuum which is under guarantee and was in a box and also plates, vases which was due to throwing of boxes into the 2nd truck (which where in hardy crates) so with that being said items bubble wrapped in hardy tough crates, so if they loose in a metal casing its not there issue but in a crate its still not there issue . - UNBELIEVABLE!!! Please people take insurance out on your own stuff, they unbelievable and don't care for peoples goods that we have spent hard earned money on... they just want your cash and that's all...
