We received the WORST service delivery (or lack thereof) from Highway Removals Durban - specifically the owner Garth Johnson, had a terrible attitude and showed up 3.5 hrs late without any excuses other than a snotty comment about accept it or he wouldn't come at all.
I'm 6 months pregnant and wanted to go with a professional company to handle my relocation to Hillcrest as I wanted it to be as stress free as possible. We paid R2350 UPFRONT (forced) for an enclosed truck to relocate our stuff, only for him not to show and when we phoned repeatedly to see where he was, as we had to be out of our premises, he answered us with, "I am running late and if you don't like it, I wont come and give you a refund! " He then arrived, THREE & A HALF HRS later, with a bakkie and a trailer!!! When we had secured, for that high cost, a truck ensuring our stuff would not get damaged! Needless to say the labourers tried their best to keep our stuff dry on the back of the TRAILER, but everything was sopping wet! And many items are left rain damaged!!
