On the 08/10/13 I called Ralph Beyers the owner of Toyo service centre. I was calling to complain about my car which was having misfiring problems. I found the problem strange because the car was just taken in for a full service in his shop and the car has only travelled just over 2000k since the service.
He then requested that I bring the car in the next day for checking. I then took the car in Toyo service centre. He then started the car and confirmed that the car has a misfiring problem and the problem could be as small as a defected plug. He advised me to leave the car for for diagnosis and he will revert back to me.
I waited to hear from him all day and nothing. Then at the end of the day I get a call informing me that the car is ready for pick up and the bill is R2000. When I asked him what happened to calling me about the problem after diagnosing it as promised before fixing it? He told me to pay up or he will strip my car and leave it the way it was. I told him this is about integrity and respect for a client. He gave me an ultimatum to pay or strip. I paid obviously but was very hurt and disappointed as these guys are claiming to be a certified Toyota Shop.
