I recently took my scooter to the edenvale jonway branch on 10th street where i had a very good relationshiip with the gentle man who was employed there at the time, the bike was brought in for hard starting and a fuel delivery issue. I left the bike in the very capable hands of the guy who was employed there at the time. i called back 2 days later after having recieved no correspondence whatsoever, only to find that the guy in question was longer employed there and that the owner of jonway edenvale (alex) had taken over. i explained my situation to alex and was under the impression that my bike was still in very capable hands. at the same time informing him that i work for a bosch service station and that i knew all too well how these transactions should be handled. a further 2 days later i had still recieved no feedback. when i managed to contact alex he informed me of the issues with the bike and i requested a quote. i never got 1. he proceeded to carry out the work with no go-ahead. i am now informed that my bike will cost R1400 to repair. when i declined the job he said i can collect the bike stripped and he refused to supply the loose spares. the attitude is appauling.
