FAULTY CLUSH CABLE/PLATE

Sunday (22 September 2013) night between 6:30 - 7pm, i was driving with my wife and kids after collecting them from my in laws. I experienced a problem with my clutch and changing of gears on my 320 BMW 2009 model. Since I was driving along the Standerton road towards Evendar, I was Closer to home when i got to one stop street i battled with changing my gears now. Since I was 5 -6 km's from home i decided to slowly drive without engaging all the gears because the cranch noise was unbearable and I was afraid to stop in the middle of the road during that time of the night with my family. I drove slowly until I got home and Monday morning the 23 September 2013, I phoned the BMW assist people to come help out with the problem which they did without a problem and three hours later i was called to be informed that my Motor Plan will not pay, since I was negligent on the car. I was angry because I thought How do you stop in the middle of the dark road in the veld in the middle of the night and waiting for a Tow truck that you dont know when it will get to me. I tried driving with caution to get home and called them in the morning and they tell me I was Careless? Please HelloPeter help me
