I got stuck in a downpour in a complex in Cape Town and I called BMW Auto Assist. Thankfully, they sent Stacy. On arrival, Stacy was very responsive and concerned but never condescending even when my knowledge of car technical terms was woefully inadequate. Stacy stayed with me in the cold for almost 2.5 hours while we waited for the towing company which was always 25-45 minutes away even after hours of waiting. Stacy even contacted his superiors on his own accord when the tow truck was not arriving as previously promised on at least 3 times. He was polite, respectful and a great person to talk to. He eventually dropped me off at the office and then was sent to pick me up to take me to the airport to get the rental. We chatted and I learnt he was a basketball ref and a father of two boys. The man is an ambassador for BMW. Without him, I would view BMW as a complete lost cause. At the airport, Stacy walked with me to the Avis counter, made sure I got the car and then walked me to my car before he disappeared into the parking lot of the rental companies. Thank you Stacy and I sincerely hope you enjoy your trip to Turkey, though someone will be denied your customer service.
