Failure to clear goods timeously

On August 17th, 2013, the parcel I'm expecting from China arrived at Joburg Airport. A clearance event was generated by DHL at 9:22.
After 24 days I'm still waiting for delivery.

In my experience it has been a nightmare to try to get in contact with Jason Joseph, who is following my shipment, or anyone else who cares at DHL.
I have in my mailbox 3 emails that I sent to DHL and got duly ignored.
I have tried many times to get in contact with Jason on the phone, but he was always unavailable (busy on the line, not at his desk, in one occasion i got told that he went quickly to the cafeteria).

On September 5th, after speaking with Jason's supervisor, i eventually received an email from Jason requesting an explanatory letter for Customs, which was produced same day.

5 days after, I am still trying to get hold of someone at DHL to have the goods delivered.

Definitely the last time I use DHL.
