I bought a 2008 Opel Astra 1.8 GTC, fromFury Fourways in Feb-13, and within a month the car started to overheat, i took the car back and they told me i have to pay 50% of the repair cost, even though i had extented warranty cover with them. Their first quote came out to be around R24000, i then told them i can't affort the balance and they reduced it to R16000, and i finally told them i can only afford R5000, which they agreed, to my suprise after paying my R5000, i got the message from the warranty showing that they paid all the remaining amount, meaning that the garage did not incure any cost. What made matters worse is that 2 months down the line i had to pay another R4000 to replace the thermohousing, which i believed should have been replaced when they quoted R24000 rand.
