My car has extremely high oil consumption.
According to the user manual a maximum of 500ml per 1000km is acceptable.
My car has been to Audi the Glen a number of times for this high oil usage.
The first time I was told 1 liter per 1000km is acceptable, the last time I took it my car was tested and confirmed to be using 1.3 liters per 1000km, and I was told this is acceptable oil consumption.
Based on the km's I drive, this equates to - 32 liters of oil a year that my car will use. This cannot be normal or acceptable oil usage.
So much for "Vorsprung durch Technik", my 20 year old golf has never used this much oil in it's whole life.
This is my second and last Audi I will buy
