My VW Sharan was sent to Ronnie at Ronnie's tyres as it was over heating! I was told by Ronnie that he knew what the problem is and will fix it. It would cost R2165 for labour and parts. I then got a phone call to say that the psitons and velves and head has blown etc etc etc. After enquiring by numerous mechanics and VW themselves, they told me that the only way this could happen is through fault on Ronnie's workmanship side. I put this forward to Ronnie and he denied all (ofcourse). Needless to say, I needed my car fixed and asked him to pls give me a quote. Long story short, after numerous phone calls which were never returned it has been 3 months and I still have no car! I phoned on Fri and Ronnie said he would phone me lunch time with a price, shock horror, I was not phoned. Yesterday I went to collect my car and Ronnie would not release my car to me until I paid R3409 for the work he has done!!! My car drove before we took my car to him, it now has half the engine in the boot, so u tell me how my car can be worse off now than when I took it there! I am gonna sue and take this as far as possible. I'm a single mom with 2 young daughters and Ronnie has taken full advantage!
