On the 24th of June 2013 we contacted Augustine for a quote. It's a 1974 Mercedes 280 SEA and we needed water hoses for the vehicle. The quote was faxed to us, we contacted our customer and upon receiving the money to order the parts, we did a EFT to Maritime on the 27th of June. I then faxed the quote with the proof of payment for Augustine's attention. I then phoned him to make sure that he did receive the fax and make sure that the parts get ordered. Only THEN he informed me that the parts are not available in South Africa and would take 10 - 15 days to arrive. I informed my customer of the issue. I phoned to follow up after 2 weeks and Augustine promised to follow up and inform me of the status of the parts. After numerous calls from my side, I ended up speaking to his manager, Clyde Smith, Clyde returned my call to inform me that the parts were at customs and need to be cleared. Tuesday 16 July Augustine phoned to inform me that the parts have been cleared and should arrive in PE on Thursday 18 July. Heard nothing until I, once again, phoned this morning (24 July). He said he will phone me after 10h00 am, when parts are normally delivered. still NO parts.
