I purchased a brand new Chevrolet Utilitiy 1.8 Bakkie in the beginning of this year. Was involved in a minor bumperbashing and had to wait a bit before the allocated motor repair centre (appointed by my Insurers) could attend to my vehicle, vehichle was handed over to them and 3 weeks later General Motors cannot supply them with a bumber. What is the use of buying from a major brand if there is no after-sales support. I do not blame the repair centre- I put the blame solely on the manufacturer/supplier.
Would appreciate if someone could get back to me with a solution. I did log a call with the GM Complaint Line yesterday afternoon- ref nr 1105464392 but only received the normal corporate line of someone will call you within 24 hrs...
