I would like to launch a complaint against Toyota Pretoria North where I bought my car and also serviced my car out of loyalty and trusting their good service. In August 2009 they fitted Rear Brake pads in ma vehicle and the service was paid for without fail. Now I wanted to change the brake pads and one of the other dealers where I took my car in for a service spotted that the brake pads in the rear are Pilot Break Pads and not genuine Toyota parts. This was illegal according to my understanding and had to take it up. When I called Toyota PTA North I was told they don't have my information anymore and their computer systems were changed because it was a job done so many years ago so basically it seems like an illegitimate claim. The agent I spoke with actually told me that the job was also not even fully paid. I want Toyota Pretoria North to replace their Pilot parts with the Genuine Parts that I FULLY PAID for. I have the paper work and even the receipt - I'm not going to take this lying down - I'm sick of people who manipulate and rob consumers of what they're entitled to. I want genuine parts fitted in my car without me paying a cent towards that. Cause Ive alredy paid!
