My 60yr old mom recently returned from 4months in UK, as a welcome back I took her and my 10yr old daughter to Primi Blouberg for a celebratory dinner.
What started off as a wonderful experience, soon spiraled into the most unpleasant dinner ever - why? Because my mom made the mistake of asking to deviate from menu. This exposed us to Yvette - seemingly senior manageress - when my mom advised Yvette after some interaction, she didn't like her table manners, this resulted in my moms bank card being flung across the table at her, and raised voices. At this point i intervened, only to have her turn her shrill shriek on me!
The other male manager, and our waiter quickly came to the table to try subdue her, and apologize to us... But still she ranted and raged, claiming she had a cold that is why she was gruff with us. There is gruff and there is rude, unprofessional behaviour, as a professional, I can clearly tell the difference.
It was a shocking display of bad manners, poor client skills, and being a bully! I believe we were not the first table of customers exposed to her ill behaviour that night,
Shame on Primi for having a senior staff member like this on board!
