Forgot about customers

I had lunch there with my partner, ordered at the till and paid. Went to have a seat, waiters asked if we were ok. 25 minutes later, still no food or drink. My partner stood up and asked about our order. The response: we forgot. Bare in mind, you only get an hour lunch break. They basically wasted half of our lunch hour. This would be ok if it was a one time occurrence. This was in fact the THIRD time this has happened! Does one have to remind them every time about your food? It seems as if there is NO communication between the girl at the till and the kitchen or vice versa. I was really disappointed. Once is an oversight, but three times? That's negligence.
