Poor response when advised of short orde

I placed an order with Fournos Bakery Dunkeld West Johannesburg for thirty bar one cup cakes costing R600.00. The day before collecting the order, I received a call from Fournos to request whether I could delay picking up my order by two hours on the Monday because they would not be ready on time. I agreed. Unfortunately on the day of collection, I fell ill and requested my colleagues in the office to collect them on my behalf. When they got back to the office with the cup cakes they counted them and realised that they were 3 short. They immediately called Fournos Dunked West and spoke to the manager who undertook to deliver the 3 cup cakes to the office. Three days later when I returned to work I was advised of these events as well as that the 3 cup cakes were never delivered as promised. I telephoned Fournos to discuss this matter with the General Manager. He merely sympathised with me and the situation I found myself in, but made no attempt to offer to either reimburse me or deliver the short cup cakes. This was a disappointment for me as I always thought quite highly of this branch This has left me disillusioned and I have decided that I will no longer support them.
