On 28/11/13 I bought Zinger Burgers (takeaway) for supper for my family. I was shocked when I bit into it and found the patty was more like a layer of skin with crumbs. The 'patty'' was less than 0.5cm. It was the same with the other burgers. I lodged a complaint with customer care on 01/12/13 and received a ref no. and the assurance that a rep would contact me. A week went by with no response. I emailed again and 4 days later received a seemingly incomplete email from the store manager which in no way resolved my issues. I responded to both parties stating my dissatisfaction and requesting a refund/replacement. I even included pictures of the 'patty'. A month later I'm still waiting for a response. Seems like KFC doesn't even care. It's sad that now we don't only have to worry about being robbed by criminals but are also subjected to this by supposedly reputable stores. Had I been short of money KFC would have refused to give me my order, why then is it ok for KFC to take my hard earned money and short-change me on my meal? I've paid full price for zinger burgers which were in fact crumbed skin on buns! Can someone from customer care contact me or does this department even exist?
