As i am typing this I am so disappointed and angry that my family and i were blatantly chased out of Primi Piatti while waiting on a table to be seated. A white male, who later identified himself as the owner (but did not disclose his name), did not want us to be patrons in the very full restaurant after enquiring from us what we want. We informed him that we want dessert and drinks, he then told us to wait another hour as he will give preference to patrons wanting to "eat". We obviously were unhappy and expressed this to him. At this point we were told to "leave my restaurant". He then pressed his hand in my wife's face and said "I'm not listening to any arguments, just leave". Eventually i complained about the level of service and behavior (as we are a coloured family) and preference were clearly given to white patrons. Eventually, after pointing out his behavior, i was forcefully escorted out by security personnel and the owner remarked "i am putting black people on your seats" while pointing to a black family waiting behind us in the queue. What are my rights? My family and i feel violated and embarrassed that our kids had to witness this kind of behavior.
