I fell in the parking area just outside the Denver Spur in the Jacaranda Centre with a trolley full of groceries. I was hurt and struggled to get back to my feet. warren of the Spur saw the incident and without hesitation rushed out to help me back on my feet. When I was standing he gathered the groceries that were spread out and helped me to put it in the car. I wanted to leave but Lizel, a manager at the Spur, would have anything of that and insisted that I come into the Spur, sat me down and even brought me a cold drink to settle my nerves. Lizel also treated my wounds end had me phone my husband to come and see if I am okay to drive.
Their unselfish help and empathy made me realise that there still is special people who are willing to go the extra mile for a complete stranger.
All I can do is to say a simple thank you to Warren and Lizel whom acted as angels in this situation.
