I was having dinner with my father and my sister. They both sent their meals back as thewy ordered the angry duck (a spicy meal) yet neither meal was prepared with any spice whatsoever.
The manager was incredibly argumentative, rude and reluctant to redo the meals.
My meal (caramelised crispy pork) was good (although served cold), however, half way through the meal I found a GIANT COOKED HORSE FLY in the middle of the meal. DISGUSTING!!! Even more disgusting is that we were still made to pay for ther meal. And even more disgusting than this is that the owner actually insinuated that I had put the horse fly in my food.
A friend of mine has apparently seen the kitchen there and said it was absolutely filthy, this comes as no surprise.
I would strongly advise people to stay away from Saigon, there are many good restuarants in the area.
