Incorrect order and inconvenience

On wednesday the 30th of october, we decided to get some steers. We ordered 3 wacky wednesdays (6 burgers) and a large chips. We paid and received the slip (order 110) Upon collection of the food, the cashier then took the slip and we left. When we got home we were shocked to find that 2 burgers were missing. My mother phoned steers and informed them of the missing burgers. The person who answered requested we come collect the burgers and they will give us a free large chips for the mistake. I then drove to steers and told the cashier about the missing burgers. He then asked me for the slip which they had taken when the order was collected. I then spent atleast 15min arguing with the cashiers that it was order 110 and that my mother had just phoned. I was told that what I was saying didn't match up to my order.the cashier then phoned my mother and even after she confirmed what I was saying, they put her on hold and arguied amongst each other while I stood there feeling like a fool. I finally received the 2 burgers but NOT the chips as promised on the phone. At this point I was too angry to ask for the chips and left. This is not the first time I've had issues with this branch..Very poor service!!
