It was lunch time, and after running my errands, I was extremely hot, hungry and thirsty. I stopped at Varsity Bakery on Atturbury Road in Hatfield with the intention to have a quick bite before moving on. I needed to refresh myself, prior to having something to eat, and asked for the bathroom. Hot and hungry, I asked the gentleman at the till, if I could please use the bathroom. He responded "sorry ma'am, management dont allow it". What is the criteria for "allowing" someone to use the bathroom? And if it's a service that needs payment, well did I really look like someone who was not willing to put my "ticky" in the slot after using the facility? Management, what exactly is the real problem here? Do you "choose" who you allow to use your bathrooms??? Well, you have lost a customer to the very polite restaurant next door!
