We have eaten there twice. The first dinning experience was not what we are used to for a Mimmos branch. The quality of the food is not very good at all. The ingredients are concentrated in the middle of the Pizza leaving most of the pizza barren. Sparse toppings to say the least. For around R90 per Pizza, It was a rip-off. As this is a new branch, we decided a week later to give them a second opportunity to redeem themselves. The quality of the food is really far below par for a Mimmos franchise. The toppings were even more spars this time round and the cheese was disgusting, it did not even taste like cheese, rather than some mulch with a slightly sandy texture that did not resemble cheese at all.
The manager pretended to be indigent.
Considering the fact that they have gone head to head with what I consider to be the best Dros in SA, I cannot understand that this Mimmos would serve the slop that they do while charging premium prices.
One thing is for sure. This owner has no clue and the Dros will swallow her business very soon.
