Our cumulative price increase has been approximately 40pct over the period you refer to. We have managed to maintain 5 pct menu inflation per annum for the relevant period. i am not sure where you get your figures from. Our increases have been below average food inflation due to the efficiency of our operation.

My reply: So are you denying having a TV campaign in 2009 with some Afrikaans South African celebrity where the large box was used as cricket stumps and the pizzas cost R65 for two large pizzas? I had that deal 15-20 times in that month so it is engrained into my mind.
