Karibu pub & diner, a client of BBN Ballito requested assistance to increase their awareness with the assistance of Ghekko events. They are fairly new to the coast and needed support. A Beer festival was discussed and the terms and conditions was agreed. During and after the event Karibu owners request that we pay for their suppliers. This is uncalled for and really bad business practise and ethics. Now they try and put BBN Ballito down and also falsely accuse Brenda Els. They claim in writing that we agreed to pay for the band but this was never the case. We were requested to fill in at the meeting they set up with the band, on behalf of the owner Wally Gibson who were in Durban at the time. WE have never dealt with this band nor ever received any calls or emails from them before. This is all fabricated so they can get out of paying their suppliers. We insist an apology and need ALL our no charge hired equipment returned in the same condition it was supplied.
