It's been years since I last bought from Steers (tasteless, little value for money). Today, I unfortunately relented due to fading memories and bought a chicken burger & medium chips, and a "saucy burger & (small) chips". However, the small chips were indeed very few, almost hidden in a tiny cardboard container THAT WASN'T EVEN FILLED! No problem I thought. STILL little value for even more money. The thing that got my goat however was the "medium" size chips were exactly the same quantity as the small, but cost more. I don't like being ripped off this way. No matter how much or how little one pays for something, I expect to get what I've paid for. So guess what? Steers (and any other business associated with it) is now permanently off my takeout menu.
