Going through KFC's drive thru is an absolute joke.
Hillcrest KFC is never busy, maybe 1 or 2 cars in the drive thru at most.
So why do I get asked to drive to wait in the parking area every single time? This is ridiculous!
When i question the staff, they tell me that that is what the manager tells them to do.
Why then have a drive thru?
I can tell you why this is being done. KFC gets checked how quick people are served through the drive thru, and then gets awarded "Awesome Service" points for being so "super efficient". Meanwhile, we have to wait for 15min in the parking lot for our food???
To everyone out there... DON'T wait in the parking lot for your food. Wait in the drive thru like you are supposed to do.
This is the only way they can effectively manage the service at that specific branch.
