Shocking Service at The Meat Company Monte Casino

This was the most unpleasant meal I have ever experienced. Firstly at arrival at the restaurant we were seated at a table and ready to order when we are asked to move and shoved into a corner table. The first two wines we ordered were not available and we were told by our waiter that the wine list "is being changed on Wednesday." It transpires roughly one third of the wines on the wine list are not in stock! We spoke to the Floor Manager who said he had taken up the issue with the GM who had nothing about it. The bread and butter arrrived and the butter was in a liquid state and spilled on the table. The waiter's comments "yes the bread is very warm! " I had to clean up the mess myself and never received a replacement napkin. Before we could enjoy the bread with the replaced butter (now solid) our main courses arrived so no bread eaten. My daughter who ordered calamari and chips received calamari and rice. Instead of replacing the meal they just scooped the calamari onto some chips leaving numeroius grains of rice behind. The waiter had taken my daughter's utensils and did not replace them. My steak and chips were cold. I asked to speak to the GM "Hansie" who never arrived!!
