From the Afcon match now at 11:00, we decided to head to McDonald honestly because it was the only fast food place open at this time of the night.
After a long wait resulting from their system being down, I finally place my order. One of the two people taking my order advises me that my bill comes to R75. I ask why because the only reason I ordered this particular meal was because there's a huge board that states that the meal is R29.90.
He abruptly responds and says no it's not R29.90, it's R37. I again explain there's a huge board outside that states that its R29.90. After verifying he comes back and states that "oh, that's special is only tomorrow".
Frustrated once again by false advertising and incompetent staff.
I pay for my food and as I'm about to drive off the most horrible manager I've ever spoken to tells me the special is from tomorrow and it says so on the board. After arguing its not I drove off back to the advertisement take a picture which does not indicate that it's from tomorrow. The manager who still insists its there and arrogantly dares me to lodge a complaint.
So for the bad service here you go, for the false advertising the Consumer Protection Act.
