Why am I being ignored?

I was at above mentioned Nandos for some take-aways on the 5th of June 2013. I was there with my mom and we placed separate orders. My order came quite quickly, but my mom's took awhile. After quite a while waiting I noticed that another client, who had ordered after us, and who ordered the same item as my mom, got his order first. I then stood up to ask what the delay in our order was. The staff members just ignored me and spoke to each other. Again I asked what the problem was, and again my question was ignored; they simply stood talking back to the kitchen staff. Only after we FINALLY got our order, she apologised for the delay, and I AGAIN asked what the problem was. She just said: "new kitchen staff". New kitchen staff could not have been responsible for giving the same order to a client who had ordered after us, and new kitchen staff is no reason for ignoring my query multiple times. Staff manning the forward counters are the "face"of the organisation, and should have good people skills. This Nandos does not - and it is unacceptable!
