Full loyalty card and you still have to pay in

I only buy power smoothies once I've finished gym and receive my sticker; once my loyalty card is full I then qualify for a free smoothie, however, I have to pay in approximately R7.50 to get my free power smoothie. I really don't feel that this is fair as I am paying for 9 in full, I should get a free one and NOT have to supplement the cost. This is really not a very fair system
