Really confused! I always thought that all Spurs have the same price across South Africa? Clearly I thought wrong! Went to Spur Waterfront, Cape Town after the Bon Jovi concert on the 07/05/2013. Had a Black Label draught and when the bill came paid R27! I asked the manager why does the price differ because we were at Spur Gordonsbay on 05/05/2013 and paid something like R18 or R20. Asked him aren't all the Spurs prices suppose to be the same? He then told me that it should be the same and then told me it was new menu's. So he wants to tell me the menu's changed in one day? But yesterday Sunday 12/05/2013 we visited Spur Cape Gate and I paid R20.95 for an Black Label Draught? So what now? Were Spur Waterfront just ripping the people of that came off the concert or are they catering for the tourist in the Waterfront? Why do the prices differ if its from the same franchise group! Really think it's unfair that the local public gets ripped off like this!! After all we are the people supporting Spurs across the country right threw the year! Also think that the prices on the whole menu is becoming ridiculous! Especially being the biggest restaurant group in SA.
