R6 for ONE pineapple slice??

Two weeks ago went into the local Nando's for a Take Away.
"Can I have your R160(??) special with salad please"
"No problem sir. Would you like the salad with pineapple or Feta?
No mention of the word 'EXTRA' at this point, just being asked which I'd like the salad with - well, my daughter doesn't like Feta so I go with the pineapple.
Obviously I'm a little surprised when I'm told the meal has an extra charge of R6 because of the EXTRA pineapple that I didn't actually request... but rather than argue the intricacies of English I decide to accept 'MY STUPIDITY' and pay.
Bear in mind that I've bought a FAMILY MEAL so, when we open the salad for the whole family to tuck into, you can imagine my surprise at the solitary pineapple slice sitting on his, or her, own on top of the salad!!
ONE slice of pineapple for 6 bucks... have you guys lost the plot.
Not at all impressed, and if you'd like the photo I took for possible use in any future advertising campaigns for Nando's please let me know; it won't even cost R6, you can have it for nothing...
