My husband MICHAEL ARTHUR LENNOX - was liquidated 4 years ago and we had generated and paid for a bond to be raised at the time to cover our business overdraft - when the liquidation happened Absa would not let us use the bond to cover our debt (apparently there was small print saying they could do this). Anyway my husband entered into an agreement to R10 000 per month on this debt - they put their huge interest on as well. He has not missed a payment and we have not received one statement in all this time. His Accountant requested a statement from the Bank - he was told the account holder had to go into the bank to request this. 6 weeks ago my husband spent 2 hours at CLAREMONT Brand and they were unable to give him this information - he was told it would be emailed within two days from Johannesburg - he is still awaiting this. He has no idea what the settlement amount is - he is now going to not pay this month and I am sure we will hear within 24 hours - surely this is unacceptable!!
