Over the past three weeks i needed to use an atm on three occasions. Bayview in chatsworth has two std atms closest to me. First time i go to bayview both are closed. I eventually i had to go to a convenient store with a saswich machine. Second time i go to the ridge in shallcross. Again not working. So i use the absa machine next to it. Before the transaction can go through it informs me that absa will not charge me extra, however my bank will. Yesterday i went to bayview. Again both are off. Proceed to the saswich. It seems standard bank makes more revenue when their atms are off! They charge their customers penalties / fees when their atms are offline. How many thousand std bank customers are ripped off this way? Iam now considering joining Steve at #@*# bank.
