On 9/01/13 I drove my car into Auto Magic to have the bumpers replaced. On 19/03/2013 I had to arrange for my car to be from TC Panel Beaters as it suddenly developed Engine Failure?! The bumper replacement was only supposed to take 2wk; but 9wks later they tell me the engine won't start. How does a bumper issue develop into an engine issue? If I had received my car in 2wks, I'm sure it would still be working. Now FFW (First For Women) & their subcontractors are refusing to take any responsibility for the sudden engine failure (that happened while the car was in their care). Neither can they completely rule out foul-play or tampering of the vehicle while in their possession. FFW can't dispute that the vehicle was driven into the Non-structural damage (Auto Magic) Repair Centre; but they cannot drive it back to me or prove HOW/WHY the engine failed. The bumpers have been replaced but what good is it if the car is not drivable? I'm now without a car and have had to extend the car hire at my own expense and have a bill to fix the engine. This is financially straining, and I'm extremely disappointed and feel that Client or not I have been unfairly treated.
