I posted a complaint against African Bank on the 13th March. I received a call from them on the 16 March with a promise to get back to me to resolve the issue. It is now the 04 April 2013 and since then I have had no contact from African Bank. The gentleman who phoned me about my complaint told me that he would investigate the matter further and someone would get back to me. Basically he gave me a story about how the account in question reflects a R0.00 balance but in actual fact is not a R0.00 balance. When I went to the bank I was told that my loans had been settled and when I phoned the Call Centre on 2 occassions i was told that the balance on the account in question was 0. i need this matter resolved and would really appreciate feedback.
It is sad that Companies only respond to complaints when posted on social media but never respond when complaints are lodged through them. So I am hoping when I do receive a call from African Bank this issue will be resolved.
