Banking with FNB but only getting approved at Std

I moved from Standard Bank to FNB a few ago, bad mistake. I earn a good salary, but i have applied for different products with FNB without any luck. Lately being a long term loan to buy my mother a house. FNB approved for a very small amount, surprisingly Standard Bank gave me the full amount i requested. Thinking about it, earlier i applied for a home loan, and while FNB rejected completely, Standard Bank approved me for 80% of the amount. Am starting to strongly believe this whole 'Steve' movement is just bogus and all talk no action.#
