First National Bank
STRUGGLING TO TRANSFER PROPERTY SINCE 2010

In Jan 2010 we bought property for R400, 000.00 incl transfer costs from the agent Seeff, signed the offer to purchase with the owner. We agreed on R3000.00 occupational rent until transfer take effect which we thought all things will go well unfortunately afterwards he passed on. We paid R400, 000.00 to our attorney's Trust Account on the 30 Mar 2010 as someone from FNB wanted the proof of payment. Then the wife was in process to be appointed as an executor in Aug 2010 the wife also passed on before the transfer could be finalized. Since February 2010 we occupied the property till present. In March 2010 City of Tshwane informed us that the electricity and water was in arrears for R49, 000.00 they will cut services, I called our attorney she advised us to pay as she did not foresee problems then we paid the bill, applied for rebate we paid R32, 000.00 of the total outstanding and we have been paying for the rates since. The problem is with FNB deceased department they dont communicate with regard to the progress for the transfer every time she is referred to different people and we are getting no response from them afterwards. Its three years since FNB started with this matter. From Zanele Mat
