Having waited in the queue last week for 40 Minutes to be told there was no cheque book waiting for me, today I returned to collect the cheque book ordered last week. Again I stood in a queue for 40 minutes and another 10 minutes at the desk while the service agent searched for it. When there are 7 computer service stations and only 3 people working this seems as if the bank does not care about service excellence. Yesterday when I phoned the bank I was told that 6 people were working - but then that was yesterday! This is a very busy branch, as they closed the smaller branch in Oak Avenue last year. When school leavers are crying out for jobs, surely this is a place where customer service training can be obtained before moving on to further careers in the banking industry.
