I recently went online to find possible loans. Loanfinder SA asked me to submit my bank details and info for credit checks. I remember filling out the page and then thinking that this was not a good idea so I closed the page. Then Saturday 25th January, 3 weeks later, I notice that a debit order of R350 has been deducted from my account from Loanfiner. I called Loanfinder to ask about the R350 deduction and when I asked to speak with a supervisor to get my R350 refund I was cut off. Before cutting me off the call agent said I ticked a block to accept the terms and conditions of the service which included a R350 deduction from my account?? If I did so it was under false pretences as I would have NEVER done so if I knew that money would have been deducted from my account. I feel completely deceived! I have also noticed that I am not the only person that has been trapped this way!! I find this completely unethical and according to the National Credit Act I would like my money back!!!
