I have found out that my debt dating back to 2006 is a prescribed debt and I do not need to pay anything to DMC. I was never contacted by DMC since it was last paid in 2006. Instead another debt management company was contacting me around 2007/2008 and then they stopped as I was unemployed and a student. Since then I had no contact until I myself called DMC in November 2012 as I wanted to find out what happened to my old Truworths account. That was my biggest error because I have been since harassed by DMC for payment. Upon realizing that this is a prescribed debt, I will never ever pay it. I asked DMC via numerous emails to PROVE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH ME SINCE 2008/2009 IN ANY WAY BEFORE I CONTACTED YOU IN NOV 2012 and nothing so far except constant phone calls to pay. Your sheriff of the court came to my work place 2013 October and told me I will be blacklisted etc but how so if I was already blacklisted for this before DMC came into the picture. I also don't appreciate your tracing my name on the credit bureau as if I owe you. I am taking legal action against this illegal harassment.
